ive been advised to alter my sound card to my uca 202 can someone please tell me how to do this?

The UCA is a cheap a-to-d converter. Have you been using your computer's internal sound card? What DAW are you using?

Hi yes i have been using my pc sound card at the moment im using audacity i also have a alto 6 channel mixer

The UCA202 is better than the internal sound card and good for the extremely cheap price. Are you using a windows or mac machine?

On windows you just plug it into a usb port and select it as the sound card to use from the software. Don't know about mac.

Alan.

Hi Alan
im using a desktop & i dont have any software with the Behringer

From memory, the "Preferences" menu on Audacity should be able to select between the Behringer and the built in sound interface. Just make sure the Behringer is plugged in and has been detected by your computer before you open Audacity and go to Preferences.

The UCA202 does not need any software to operate, it will be seen by any audio software in the computer under the preferences, if you are using windows media player or just want any audio from the computer to play through it select the USB audio device under the windows audio in control panel. I have a windows machine with itunes playing through the behringer no problems.
