I have a Behringer uca202 going into my alto l-6 mixer then into my pc.Now when i record something i cant hear what ive recorded but when i play it back i can hear it through my pc speakers.But when i need to hear something on youtube i have to unplug my behringer in order to hear through my pc speakers .What am i doing wrong?

What software (DAW) are you using? You need to select the input and output devices in the DAW.

I assume you actually have the mixer outputs plugged into the Behr inputs, then USB that to the computer. You need to have your headphones and monitors (or computer speakers) plugged into the Behr to monitor what you are recording.

I think you need to do some serious reading, like the Stickies at the top of the Newbies section of the forum.

As per your previous post, I can't find reference to an Alto I6 on any Google search...all their mixers have numbers starting with "S", "RMX", "ZMX", "TMX" etc.?

Anyway, how (or even if) you can do this will depend on the feature set in your mixer.

If, when you play it back, its sounding through your PC speakers, then you do not have have the output device selected as the Behr in Audacity.
Your sound device for other applications in your computer (i.e our web browser, etc) is still the internal soundcard, that's why you still hear youtube through the PC speakers.
