Sounds fine to me. :)

I just didn't like the drums - I can hear they are a machine.
And the song finishes too quickly - let it ring at the end for a while.

Nice track, good work! :)

It's funny you think that because I'm the drummer for the band and those are totally real and was performed by me. Glad you liked it overall, thanks for the feedback

I reckon you ought to spread the drums a little wider in the stereo image -the cymbals don't really give any audio cues for a spread in the image.
THe lead guitar noodling away is a little loud most of the time.
The lyrics get a bit repetitious - a bit like there's only one thing I can say here!
The death growl is redundant in terms of the arrangement and sonics.
The mix is a bit dense without much separation between instruments up the middle.
I like the ending.

Thanks for your reply. I actually wanted to keep the mix dense I thought it fit the song. I agree the left guitar is a bit loud at times I'll fix that.

P.s. your mixes are great. I struggle w loudness because the band is very heavy on every instrument, there's no 'air'. Any tips you have for me I'd gladly take. Thanks for the review

Mix in mono & when it sounds OK start to spread things in the stereo image.

Mixing in mono initially will force you to do some EQ carving to make individual instruments sound clearer.
If you vcan't hear it have a look at each instrument track in a spectorscope/graph/thingy so you can take not of the frequqncies they inhabit in common. If you have two guitars & both have the same effect/set up you'll find that a little EQ cut in one & correspponding tiny boost in the other will give them some individuality. Becareful though as you'll be tempted to add muchmore in the highs and that will skew you stereo image (the highs give the stereo image clues & cues).
Careful placement of the instruments in the stereo image will give some separation & definition - not to much overlapping etc etc.

Your vocalist is great. The guitars are well played but they're too loud. I'm not hearing much bass and this kind of tune really needs bass to provide the link between the groove and the melody. Speaking of which the song itself doesn't really groove, it's almost like the drums and guitars are playing different songs at times

The old mix focused on vocals and new mix focused on guitar. Somewhere in the middle would be good. It sounds like more mastering compression on the second version as it is more dense. I agree with BS - the drums sound good mix wise but they need to be looked at to see if you can set a better overall flow to the song. If you multitracked to a click that should be easy
