I was thinking the same thing about the cans vibrating, maybe gluing between them would tame that a little?

And this isn't just some excuse to drink beer, okay? There's serious science being conducted here! :)

I wonder about filling the cans with spray foam, to reduce the resonance.......

got a lot of cans on there already, maybe a coat of latex paint would work, but it would ruin the masterpiece of art that it is

My lord, do not sacrifice that which is beautiful at the expense of performance!!! I am totally curious how it actually performs, in the natural 'white trash' state. We can all learn from it. And enjoy true American art. :D

Been wet eyed since the start of your thread. Reminds me of that old commercial with the American Indian and the pile of trash.......

i'm sure i'll be crying when this thing starts introducing an insane tinny squeal at the drop of a hat

Doesn't add up to me. But, to each his own "diffuser". Personally, I like my DIY stuff to WORK, which is not to say eye candy isn't nice, but if it's performance your after..well, I rest my case. Anyway, good luck..oh, and btw. I've drank my share of beer while working on mine too.:D But I recycled the cans to buy 703 for the absorption side of the equation.

Methinks somebody is missing the real point...

Hey, it worked for Studebaker- and just look at them, now!

Next I wanna see a diffuser made out of nips, pints, fifths, and half gallons!

i was thinking about a beer bottle diffuser, it'd be tough to mount 'em though... i do have some 40's lying around.

Keep drinking.....:drunk: The problem is that if you drink too much I can't see the cans still being mounted in a straight line.

Do the results of a beer can diffuser rely on the graphic layout? Actually, does it really matter with any diffuser if it works? Keep drinking, it will all sound better. :D:drunk::drunk:

If your not going to stagger the heights at least leave some holes. Maybe I just don't understand the pyramid plan? Your gonna move tall-boys in the center?
