FYI TapeandTape has a new account. The User ID is itsallgood.323

Same bad sticky shed tape and slowly but surely gaining same bad rep for same reasons.

The TapeandTape account is still active, but the selling account was suspended from numerous complaints. It's now being used for buying only.

There's good tape on eBay, but not from this seller. Be careful out there my friends! :)

Bastard!

As for selling to Tape and Tape, I would avoid it. Once he did a Buy it Now on one of my auctions, then claimed the tape never arrived. He's blacklisted from me all around, and if I ever sell tape on eBay again I'll be sure to block his new name.

Thanks for the heads up Beck,

What a loser. Out of nearly a hundred transactions he's only left one feed back for "others" and it was negative! Which means he's probably scamming others he's buying items from like he did maddogg, and then reselling them!

Thanks for the heads up Tim.

My advice to one and all is to not buy used or NOS tape from anyone. Yes, newly manufactured tape is more expensive than it used to be but so what? The extra money saves a ton of potential grief.

I've bought 13 reels of used UD 35, all in good condition. I haven't bothered using my new LPR35, the used tape is working out so well.

I avoid used tape, but NOS is as good as new. If the tape is a known good brand and model with a stable binder it doesn't go bad. The only people that may want to avoid New Old Stock are those that can't keep track of what is good and bad. We've gone to great lengths in this forum to educate so anyone can differentiate between risky tape and known good tape.

It's all here, but if it's too confusing for some... sure buy only new tape of recent manufacture. Then again if you can get your head around it choose wisely and you'll reap the benefits. I actually prefer BASF/EMTEC SM911 to RMGI SM911 and AGFA/BASF PEM 468 and SM468 to new RMGI SM468. Knowledge is power. Learn what is what and be happy. :)
