I liked the riff and I liked the sizzle on the guitars. Good performances. Liked the distortion on the vocal.

I didn't think the synth worked well. I just didn't think it fit.

The "distant" comment might have been due to the drums. The snare and cymbals are missing sparkle. They sound like they're way in back of the band.

I kept thinking - a little more HF in the lead vocals - no, they are spot on, well, just a little more HF in the lead vocals - no they are right on, Humm just a little more HF in the lead vocals,,, Naw

Where there is a lot going on, I think a LITTLE High Freq boost in the lead vocals would make it sound better to me. but don't touch them in the solo (quiet) portions. Good stuff.

Cool. I missed this one the first time around.

I liked the guitar sound and the vocals are well done - I like the fact that they're coming at you from a variety of angles with different processing in different sections. The panning was a bit extreme, but kinda interesting in the respect too. A fun tune. Well done.

Oops, forgot about this thread!

...sounds very light, and the opposite of "in your face". Like, I'd have to turn this one up in my CD rotation in order to match volume...
Thanks PI. It's not mastered so I guess that would explain that???

jameslondon69, will check out Electric Six. Thanks

TripleM, youre not the first one to mention the synth not fitting - will look at it.

Thanks for listening, gcolbert & heatmiser

Sad that I am *still* working on the album that this song is on!

Man... I really might step in it for disagreeing with Triple, but I think the synth fit just fine. Don't take it out. It gives the song more flavor.

Cool. I like it. Sounds really good. I think it may sound distant because it's unmastered. I turned the volume up and it sounds clear and fine to me.

Guitars sound really cool. Good job with the vocals, the echo, distortion, and then it sounds cool all cleared up and doubled on the chorus.

Even the cheesy synths don't sound cheesy! Good job.

This is one of the most unique cool sounds I've heard on this board. Refreshingly different. I think it sounds great. I'd leave the synths. Puts it square into the 80's.

Thanks man! I think the synths get the nod - but I will look at the eq to make them less cheesy I think...?
Thanks for listening aaronmcoleman and PI, I think you hit the nail on the head, flavour is a very personal thing and its not going to work for everyone.

Looking forward to getting this album done & might throw up 1 or 2 more tunes in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for the comments.
