Manual entry of fader levels

Can i do this? Rather than trying to inch volume faders with the mouse i want to be able to nudge with arrow keys perhaps or even better type the value in, im not sure why im not just able to do this, seems obvious.

Yup. Use the scroll wheel of your mouse. Click onto the fader of the track whose level you want to mess with, and use the scroll wheel to go up or down. It's a lot more precise than dragging.

Cheers, i found you can hold control and use the arrow keys as well, but what im really after is being able to just type in the level i want.

I *think* you can right-click the fader for a manual entry. Maybe not though, I use a controller so it's been a while.. Something to try anyway.
