I see deaf people
this is a track thats going to be a soundtrack for a short video.... once i get the hang of the videoing thing, and it stops raining (its like fucking London just now)


its a bit repetitive with some real life outside sounds called "the cove" after one of my favourite hang outs here in So Cal

I think the mix is pretty there but its like an old tune, little build up, mellow, a bit boring even??


 
oh forgot to say thanks for listening if you do and any comments...

What can I say...? Sounds completely professional to my ears and in the context of a video, just right. Do we get to see the video too, later? Good that it's raining, that way you can stay in and make music.....when is the next Whotards release?:D
 
Not my favorite from you, but not bad. Like you said, pretty mellow. No acid flashbacks here. I know your music is usually like 400 layered tracks, but this one seems kind of sparse and it's a nice change from your usual offerings. I like the curveball at the end. I only have two mix critiques - the bass and kick seem a little light. I'm not really feeling the low end. And the ambient atmospheric intro is way too long. It took almost a whole minute for anything to start happening. Otherwise, pretty solid. :)
 
Yep - it took too long to drop (see I know the lingo lol) Other than that it was a great tune/mix. Try and keep dry!
 
It's wet and crappy here on the east coast too...40 degrees and raining...gotta love it.

Nice work on this, it sounds very good to me.

I dont know what to do about the video..Ive just bought everything i need to get started but cant start lol

I was going down to La Jolla cove to film but the weathers shit until next week and i got bored of the song :)


we need a new whotards..I might give the site a break for a while but Ill work on the "who are you" keys and see if Gregs on board... i still listen to the first one almost daily

yeah it kinda worked with the "film" in mind but is well lengthy without


I was trying a different chain on the bass buss i wonder if its making it a bit light..Ill have a wee tweak as it seems to translate here but youre generally spot on


thanks G..I know this one must have been a bit of a trial as nothing really happens...might work better as a soundtrack as original

thanks Dave..I have around 4 nearly finished projects..I guess I just needed something to mix..this was very much a quicky
 
I like the intro because I like to hear outdoor sounds. This vid have monkeys in it?

Nice to work to, being nailed to a bench and all.

i like the intro to..its like one of those self help tapes..i need a few ;)
 
Like the intro....kinda reminded me of the beginning of Quadrophenia for a moment (I am The Sea).....my wife asked me if it was New Order when the beat kicked.....I like!
