Huge tsunami of sounds come pouring out the speakers. Great big sense of space and you've captured the retro vibe to a t. Good song too. Kind of reminds me of the Ramones doing Needles & Pins for some reason

Oh no. Greg was compared to the singer from Offspring!! Didn't you just love that pathetic Obladi Oblada rip off they did - Get a Job or something?
No way - nothing like the trainer whjeeled skate boarding Dexter!!
I just listened to both versions again. The mono's growing on me more each time.
Just superb (still in shock re the keyboards though).

Awesome...love the low end groove on this...so friggin solid....!
Thanks queepy. :D

Great song, great mix - hints of Wheezer - definitely studio quality - you captured the sound
Thanks a lot. :)

Huge tsunami? Run! Run!

Thanks dude. Ramones comparisons are always good to me. :)

Thanks again, Ray. I can't say I've heard enough Offspring to even have an opinion of them. I remember one or two of their songs I think, but I don't listen to modern commercial poppy-punk like Offspring, or Rancid, or Blink-182. That shit is mega gay.

Really nice. It sounds like you spent some time mixing. Nice seperation etc, especially for not spending a ton of time on it. One of the best I've heard in a while...song writting, arrangement, recording.

Sweet. Thanks dude.

This is just spectacular dude. I find it hard to manage to get two guitars and a bass to be tight together and you put 150 tracks of drums (or something like that) perfect. I would like to know: did it take more than one try per track? Lol. Probably didn't as good as you are, but it would take me a decade to record something like that.

Cool tune also BTW.

Thanks a lot man. Tracking everything was pretty easy, except for the castanets. The bass took a few run-throughs because I mostly made it up as I went along. Everything else was planned and practiced before tracking, and it's a simple song, so it went smoothly. I don't recall a bunch of do-overs. I don't know if you noticed, but there are no drum fills or rolls of any kind. It's just straight boom-whack. I knew I'd be stacking multiple takes of drums, so I kept it simple and played to a click.
