TASCAM48-OB,diameter of the ceramic capstan shaft

Hello everyone, this is my first post here from Japan.

Recently, I've got a TACAM48-OB in bad condition and have been on maintenance, but found that the diameter of the ceramic capstan shaft is smaller than original one.
Now, I've looking for someone who knows the original diameter of the ceramic capstan shaft and
how to use option parts that are attached on the housing base so that it would be possible to fix an additional ceramic part on the existing ceramic capstan shaft.

I tried to post the image but I'm not allowed.
 
On my 48-OB the capstan appears to be exactly 0.5" in diameter. I measured it with an engineering/drafting ruler.

I have no idea on the rest, but I hope this helps.
