Wow. Very nice. Great guitar playing and singing.
My only thing is with the drum. I'm guessing it's a cajon. For me it really doesn't add anything to the song and is distracting at times.
I agree with dastrick, the perc is kinda not meshing. The guitars sound AMAZING, the shaker is placed very nicely, maybe a tambourine on the other side to would sound nice and widen the field a bit or bells!! I'm just talking tho haha. Other than that, GREAT tune man, I think it sounds very well mixed!
+1 on the steel![]()
Hey, thanks for listening. I used a Blue "Baby Bottle" on his vocals through a presonus tube pre.great sound!, what do you use to record the vocals? and what soundcard do you use?
Thanks, u are kind.its perty
I can hear a bit more shaker in the song... maybe a little earlier...
what else is there to say? You seem to really know what you are doing!
Thanks, u are kind.
I'm a little concerned about the reverb in general. I'm trying to get a real earthy or "brown" sound. Ray Lamontagne come to mind. I've been told that's not my strong suit. So I think I'm going to go back in a really focus on the verb parameters and the placement.
Thanks so much for listening and the feedback. An artist like this does come along to me every day.![]()
You have an earthy sound. Brown sound is Eddy Van Halen – you don’t want that.
Now, this is another really good listen from you. To me it sounds perfect. Both the guy and the gal I’ve heard from you are very good.
Keep em coming.
And if you have the time and the inclination, what’s the story? You a player? The producer? Some Ds please.
