Wow. Very nice. Great guitar playing and singing. :D:D:D

My only thing is with the drum. I'm guessing it's a cajon. For me it really doesn't add anything to the song and is distracting at times.

I'm almost inclined to say that a steel guitar would be nice at the end and very lightly throughout the rest of the song, but I'm not sure.:)

What's the singer's name? If you can say.

I really enjoyed the listen and think I'll hit play one more time. ;):):)

So is there steel guitar or not? I'm confused.

And you probably wouldn't want me to play steel guitar unless you want to add some suckiness to the song. :D

No steel. Just two acoustics, one electric and upright bass.

... Nice ...one of the phrases is a little cliche - about kissing before she even senses it ..
Apart from that nice and clear.

I agree with dastrick, the perc is kinda not meshing. The guitars sound AMAZING, the shaker is placed very nicely, maybe a tambourine on the other side to would sound nice and widen the field a bit or bells!! I'm just talking tho haha. Other than that, GREAT tune man, I think it sounds very well mixed!

+1 on the steel ;)

Agreed on the congas. I took them out.
Go Irish!!

Hey, thanks for listening. I used a Blue "Baby Bottle" on his vocals through a presonus tube pre.
On this I used an M-Audio 1814 with Protools 8.

Very very nice - both recording and song. Good work by you and I'm sure the artist is pleased. Send our congrats for a great performance

Yes, get rid of those percussions and this one's perfect! Or put a drumkit in there...
Great performance, wonderful singer, beautiful flowing mix. What more can one say?:)

its perty ;)
I can hear a bit more shaker in the song... maybe a little earlier...
what else is there to say? You seem to really know what you are doing!

Thanks, u are kind.

I'm a little concerned about the reverb in general. I'm trying to get a real earthy or "brown" sound. Ray Lamontagne come to mind. I've been told that's not my strong suit. So I think I'm going to go back in a really focus on the verb parameters and the placement.

Thanks so much for listening and the feedback. An artist like this does come along to me every day. :)

You have an earthy sound. Brown sound is Eddy Van Halen – you don’t want that.

Now, this is another really good listen from you. To me it sounds perfect. Both the guy and the gal I’ve heard from you are very good.

Keep em coming.

And if you have the time and the inclination, what’s the story? You a player? The producer? Some Ds please.
