There's a kit up for auction locally, but I haven't been down to actually see it. The only details I have are written on the pic. Auction ends tomorrow. Is there any way I can go wrong if I can get this thing for under $200?

No, you can not go wrong with a Yamaha kit for under $200.00 unless it is beat to crap.

Those guys speak the truth. If it's really a Yammie, and is decent shape, you can't miss at $200.

I can't see the badge clearly, but they don't look like Rydeen. Just as well; they're at least 'better' than a $500 Rydeen set, but they don't look like Stage Custom badges either. What the heck can they be? Rock Tour?

didn't buy it. i already have a kit and i'm going to vegas this weekend. fuck it.

Yeah, THAT trip will be MUCH better return on investment.

I'm sorry you don't approve. Perhaps I should call my friends and tell them that I can't attend their wedding, and that I really didn't want to go anyways?

Oh, come on. Really, I don't care if you go to Lost Wages, NV or not. It was a freakin' joke- surely you could see that.

Anyway, have fun, don't get too drunk, and when you succumb to one of the brides' maids insistent advances, be sure to wrap that thing!:)

That kit is a pile of crap and will sound like such. Just wait till you can spend at least $1000 on a shell pack. If you tried to use those in a recording they would bastardize the whole thing. The Sonor Force line is really nice sounding for the $$$

Good friends- telling you what you need/want to hear, so you feel better about passing on a good deal.
