My favorite of yours so far man. Very fun. Loved the beat, the bass, the vocal sample...

I thought the ending was a fine way to bring this thing to a close...did you slow down the original vocal sample for that section, or...? I liked the guitars at the very end where it broke up and got all chaotic just before the fade out (which was too abrubt I think).

Mix-wise it sounds great. Overall it seems like maybe, just maybe the highs and lows seem a little exaggerated/hyped perhaps at the expense of some mid range meat or sumpin'...I dunno. Maybe not. It sounds pretty damn good as is.

Thanks Pete..I think its a favourite of mine too...I could tell when I was making it that I was liking it and the guitar bit at the end was a right laugh..

Ill revisit it and have a listen, jd already mentioned the lows affecting the HFs and if you're noticing something too??...it may be the processes after the mix, Im still pretty amateurish at "mastering" the final track and those exciters and enhancers enhance my excitement when using them lol

yeah I slowed the sample down..It went from 166bpm to 95bpm for the final part, which was faded out so I can increase its length..If I feel you need punished more, maybe Ill sing a whole verse about killing puppies or something :D

OK so tamed the bass a little and took some of the LFs off the kick, and turned down the enhancer a notch or two...I think its sounding better though I never noticed in the first place lol :)

What a relief,

If you can mix drunk then I can critique drunk.

It sounds fucking fantastic, but I still want a lyrical bit I can sing along to.

see now we are getting somewhere...its not about fashion...its about drunk..Im trying to open up new genres

drunk rock
jazz drunk fusion
drunk and bass
rhythm and drunk etc etc

the beauty is that it all sounds good at the time, you dont have to worry about mixing it well, and we can all get one with the more important things in life like drinking..

I dunno as a Scotsman why I havent thought of this before...Im going to rake in the $$$ if I remember this tomorrow! :drunk:

:D

now sing a long "Its in my brain now...its in my brain" :D

All that's "in my brain" now is that I feel like a complete sheepish dick.

It's in my brain, NOW!
killer track KC!!!
Good stuff,...waitin' to hear a screamin' lead from the Monotron,
on one of your newer tracks.:D

Favorite part was the breakdown at the end.
Wish there was more of that, somewhere in the middle.
Left me jonesin' for more!!!

thanks man....havent done anything with that monotron except put the EA through it..maybe Ill buy a stylus this afternoon :)

mate you're not meant to like the end bit...thats the "fuck rock" bit! :D

Alright, typing as I listen. When the verse kicks in, it makes me want to race... In Tokyo. With lasers flying past me. In a car that is jet black and shiny. It's pretty much that way throughout the whole song. In the end, I want to be behind the drum kit jamming away. Nice job.

cheers bro :D

I think thats all good...maybe a bit video game(ish)? no bad thing :)

That's alright cuz I tend to like everything I'm not supposed to!:D;)

Being an Industrial/Noize artist, I take no offense!

I'm not much of a "Rocker"...but do love me some oldschool punk & metal!

Keep that futuristic dance music "rollin"!!!~

I'd like to hear you do some more ambient type stuff!...

Dude, I like the hell out of this one. Has a good feel to it. I love how you use the electronics as well as you do. You are one hell of a producer of this stuff. I envy your style and know I could never come close the reproducing it.

I love the hell out of the last bit with the real guitars. As already stated it might not fit, but I would like to hear a little more of it.

Good stuff,

Trump

thanks man....yeah i feel ive got a handle on this stuff now...just unfortunate my productions seem so dated, but im not really willing to go through every track to hear modern trends...dont think I care enough :)

and no you probably couldnt produce something like this straight away...much the same as I could reproduce the acoustic guitars you just recorded...horses for courses mate ;)

I liked the guitar bit...Id like to introduce more into the tracks but the seldom work for me...I may try to do a complete non joke guitar track...dunno...the v-amp pro is working out well..I love the amp models and having real knobs to twirl..the effects are shite so I just use software for the pedals...best of both worlds maybe..the tone sounded all right didnt it? I think its more 3D than a regular soft amp
