Give me a shout if the mastering isnt loud enough...I was carefull when mixing and mastering this not to have it to hot sounding however hopfully the volume is at a good level.

Yo, G-Zero... As soon as the contest ends, let me know, and I'll scoop up the mixes and do my portion of voting. I recently got a real job (one where I actually have to work), so, I'm not as able to listen and comment all day long.
All right. Got it downloaded. Thanks for playing.Ok corrected the fiddle track alignment problem, did some de-essing on vocals and moved some stuff around a bit. Great song.
Milk Cow Blues (take 2)
Here's my link to the song. I'd just like to say that this was a very fun song to mix and I like it alot. You all did a great job on all the instruments and the singers voice is excellent. Glad you all shared this one.

Thanks for the mix. Got it.Nice tracks. Everything is recorded so cleanly - makes a change from what I'm used toVocals are great and I've never mixed fiddle or dobro before...thanks for putting these up....here's my mix
Got it. No inconvenience at all.My monitors have just 8" woofers and I listened to it on the living room system just to find out there was too much bass drum boom in my mix which the monitors hid. Don't know where that came from... Actually I know, so repeat after me: when you're tweaking some EQ and for some reason you don't get a good response, there's something going on that you're not hearing. In my case some bass below the monitors requency range.
Here's the fixed mix (same URL), sorry for any inconvenience: http://www.box.net/shared/xqdaofhe6s
...try to crown the winner by this weekend some time.
