I've looked it up and can't find a legit definition. I am COMPLETELY confused. At the moment, im using a program that makes electronic drums(Acoustica Beatcraft) If i get a drum sample, does that mean i can replace the original sound and add the new one?? I'm completely confused

on beatcraft you can replace their kick sample with your sample, or snare etc etc

was there someone who recommended beatcraft to you because it is flawed...its bpm is off by a small fraction unless they have (finally) fixed it...they hadnt by build 19...it will go out of time

do you ever read a manual? lol ;)

where it says the drum name on the left hand side..like "909 kick" just double left click on the name and open the folder that has your samples (or beatcrafts samples)...then click on the sample that you want to replace the 909 kick with and thats it

also rather than being 120 bpm beatcraft plays at 119.98 bpm or something so eventually youre track goes out of sync

its a problem they are well aware of and just seem to have given up trying to fix ages ago....so unless you have a programme that will auto stretch the audio file its pretty crap...also build 19 still didnt allow dragging and dropping midi or opening it as a vsti

there is much better out there

but do try the manual :)

Lol before reading this post of yours, I did the exact thing u just told me haha my apologies. Could you reference me to sites where there are quality samples you would reccomend?
