I can't seem to find one where I live to try. I've heard these amps are pretty great though. What are some your your experiences and impressions with them?

I played through one at a store - sounded great in the maybe 90 seconds I played through it :D So I can't give an opinion, because that's the extent of my experience. Looked fairly sturdy, I suppose. You might ask this question in the guitar forum and get more takers.

I once had a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe that I didn't want, and offered it on Craigslist for trade. First offer was for a Matchless 15-watt amp and 112 cab. I spent a few hours with it. I was underwhelmed, didn't do the trade.

IMO, like most botique amps, they survive on mistique more than real tone. Not worth the high dollar prices everybody wants for them.

Eh, I don't know. The one I played was spectacular, but not for me. It's a very distinctive sound - crunchy and glassy, somehow. They're worth it if it's what you're after.

Pretty much an amp for that 90's grunge sound. Once you have one the next step for you is to get a DR Z amp and then keep spending and spending on boutique amps that are no way near worth what your paying for.
