How can I learn more about restoring a reel 2 reel

I've got to go to college... so I thought about something I would love to learn.
Where can I learn all about this...
 
I don't know if their any colleges teaching about reel to reel and the like these days. To get some knowledge you can go to youtube and analogrules ETC. I think we should elect Cory to perform weekly videos on certain topics. That would be cool.
