have my mpc 2500, pf 610 with macbook pro and vsts

I use my mpc 2500 to sequence everything including my vsts

Whats the easy way to record my audio tracks on pro tools on each track?

My pf-610 has 6 inputs
Mic inputs are 1 and 2.
Line inputs are 3 and 4. '' thats mono-unless you combine 3and4 for stereo
SPDIF inputs are 5 and 6.

I have my hardware going amp into a 4-ch dj/line mixer..

I want to record kick on 1 snare on 2 etc etc..

How?

Not sure I completely understand what you're asking.

So you need enough inputs to record drums? And you are asking how to get them all into the software on separate tracks? Well you have two mic inputs to use, and I suppose you could use an adapter to get from XLR to 1/4in for the line inputs for two more? They'd have to have preamps in those, too.

I don't know much about SPDIF, really.

does your mpc have midi out? i would record it that way, unless there is something else on the mpc? I have a profire 610 as well.
