Yeah, that's pretty concise. It spells out the differences pretty clearly. Well, the first bit does. I had to laugh at little miss Cutie though, wasn't she just a fund of info. Even if I was a cartoon I couldn't've put it better.

Didn't notice this little bit at the end.....

To her credit though she didn't do the recording forum common thing of cutting and pasting, then slightly rewording and posting as yer own. Ya see that all the time.

Chuck Ainlay, Frank Filipetti, Mutt Lange, and Ed Cherney are missing from that list.

Eddie Offord, Mike Stone, Martin Birch and Tom Allom should also be on that list

This is starting to look like one of those infamous "best/favorite guitarist" threads! :D

By the end of the week there'll be 5000+ names! :laughings:

I can just see people skimming through the liner notes of their CD/LP collections....looking for names. ;)

Then lets start to narrow it down ....
How about the top 25 of all time?

Dionisio Aguado was the greatest guitarist of all time, duh. Next to him... nobody.:) Next to nobody... that guy that played Wipeout.:p

It's this simple with recording engineers too.:p

Is that a C major that Dio is playing there, or is he just riffing out?

And that's a pretty elaborate guitar stand there also!

()

Dunno, could be an F maj7. He was pretty experimental.:D Actually, he was a monster player, despite the pic. Lightning fast scales, or so it's written in the historical documents.:D
