need advice on buying a good daw software for recording n mixing vocals?

Could you also please state any additional plugins i would need to get to achieve my target?

Logic is real good . Google "my dear disco" and give a listen their album was completely done with logic in the box ..and has some great plug ins.
Reaper is also a good DAW.

And for the record (no pun intended) "Studio quality" has very (VERY) little to do with what software you're using...

A really great DAW is "Experience" - manufactured by "Practice & Learn Inc". ;)

Whatever you might have heard..."studio quality" doesn't come in a box. :)

That said...there are several well designed DAWs that can help you get there...my favorite is Samplitude.
 
That is very true Massive! That is the one thing I didn't touch on, for it's all in the hands of those who use the soft wares.
