Yo Mortus! I will try to (almost) always be a voice of reason. First translation- The boys are just ribbing you, no death threats yet, except maybe Death Metal. Yes, I *have* found the question, if not the answer to it, that you come here to ask. The same fracking questions everybody is trying to answer: What the hell am I doing? Well, Mortus, in the end, that's what you need- a goal, a plan, and a budget. What gear do you already have, including computer(s)? If you don't have those three things, there is a plan B, but it is a dark path indeed. You shoot a man over a card game in Louisiana. You are sent to prison for your crimes and hard drinking.
