panning in acid pro 7

Hi all,

Please help this problem is sending me nuts.

Acid pro has suddenly stopped panning. I have two guitars one hard panned left the other right using surround panner however they both play through the centre. Panning seems to just lower/increase the volume!!!

stuck please help. if you need more info pls let me know

Sounds like its a sound card issue, probably nothing to do with your DAW. Just to check, do you have any audio that is panned exclusively left or right? (Like a metal song intro.) So I'd check that first and see if it was Acid or your sound card.

Also, check your master fader in windows isn't panned to one side. (I assume you are using windows.)

Are they duplicate mono tracks panned hard let and right?

thanks for the responses guys, it turns out it was my sound card. don't know when this was changed but I reset it to default settings and problem solved. thanks for your help otherwise I prob would have been blaming acid pro for today too!!!!
