...consumed a bit more then the usual at band practice:drunk:...thought these were kinda funny so I thought I would share...the 1st is a cover of Sweets "Ballroom Blitz" just started learning it, so its really rough, but a real fun one to play...if we tighten it up..it may go over well at our next gig...the second is just a improv jam at the end of the night...:drunk:

Heh I'd recognise those queepy backing vox anywhere. You know for a rough version you've pretty well nailed the original guitar and snare sound....from what I remember of the early 70s anyway! It's a great tune to cover - perfect for the drunken jam

Thanks man...it sux bad now...but I definetly think it's worth banging away at....very fun to play!:D

Queeps,
What else is there to do on St P's Day than drink & have fun?
You've nailed the guitar sound in the intro - what do you do to get that?

Haha, how can yall stand all that delay on your vocals? It would drive me crazy. :o

Good job on Ballroom Blitz. I'm not too crazy about the wanky jam other one. You have a good band though.

Hey Queep, I used to be a BIG Sweet fan when I was a kid and Ballroom Blitz is one of my all-time favourites. Swiss band Krokus did a great cover of it too in the 80's (know Marc Storace personally, he's from Malta like me....:D)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's a ballroom blitz.....!

Joey :):):):)

Love the raunch of the guitar on the first track. I don't know that song well at all but I certainly remember the chorus. Your guitar strikes me as a bit nastier (which I prefer) than on the original but maybe I just don't remember it correctly. Anyway...great energy and great fun.

Ok, the guitar was just pretty insane on the jam...the whole thing reminded me of band of gypsies at times. It's been a while since I've heard something in that vein. Thanks!
