I technically shouldn't be posting this here but I don't think I'll get many bites over at the classifieds section, especially for the tape related items. Here's what I have:

-EDITall splicing block for 1/2" tape, the large, heavy duty aluminum type
-Reel adapters for Revox but can be used with others as well
-Sensing tape which looks unused and brand new
-Reel spacer
-Rolls PB23 phantom supply with power s
-Guerrilla Home recording book (new)

I'm not sure what EDITall aluminum 1/2" blocks sold for or are selling for on the used market. Anyone know? I'm open to any reasonable offer, based on fair market value.

These seem to be more rare than hens teeth on eBay but there's one which ended at close to 50 USD (but the make / model is unknown).

Whether it's considered proper in other parts of this site, I certainly hope that anyone who has any analog stuff they want or need to sell feels OK posting about it here, either with a link or with details. Honestly, I don't pay a lot of attention to threads on the other parts of HR very often any more, and don't comb through the classifieds much, so I appreciate a heads up on relevant stuff here in this forum. Of course, that's just me and I don't make the rules here.

Cheers,

Otto

It's been a month or so but I've seen the 1/2" aluminum blocks go for about 30 to 40 on audioproz site. I'm not sure of who made it tho. Hope this helps.

pardon my ot also, but i notice the plastic bag over your revox. i do the same with my r2rs when not in use. keeps that nasty ol' dust away.

Personally, I'd never spend much on one of those blocks. I'd use the table or make one before I did that. But that's just me. ;) I don't know when they went through the roof like they are now, but I got my 1/4" one free.

I also think it's cool to post anything analog for sale here. I think.

I have a 1/4" Edit All splicing block and it is absolutely wonderful. It's made out of aircraft-grade aluminum or something crazy.

Yeah, same with me. I've came across people asking whether it's OK to post their related items here and I have no problems with that. It's really the only place I visit and it's been the case where I missed an item or two posted over the classified section because I just didn't visit there often enough.

Yeah, I've seen prices all over the place but it seems some of those are made of different quality materials or something 'cause some are more sought after than others. Thanks.

Not to hijack the thread, but YEOW! And this one is 1/4".

I'm glad you appreciate that detail. Yeah, I cover ALL of my gear with plastic bags. The see through garbage ones fit nicely over the tape decks especially. :D

Yeah, I too am curious why they're so expensive.

You think that's bad?

Check this one out! :D

Ah, interesting... You wouldn't happen to know where I can find some info on this "aircraft-grade aluminum" bit, would you? I'm just wondering if this has a lot to do with the fact that those ones are more sought after and expensive.

I too hope the AO community is okay with FS postings...I've put a couple up here and there and usually its because I'd rather make the item available to the AO community...
