you should have phantom power on the mixer...I run everything through my mixer then my audio interface...and contrary to popular believe the behri's are pretty quiet...

I'm looking at the description for that mixer and I don't see where it says it has phantom power any where...
I hope he/she didn't buy it expecting it to have something it doesn't.

Instalation for scound cards are prety simple and straight forward...make sure you dont have any static electricity running through your body before you touch any components and try to only touch the sides of the card...find the PCI slot in your computer and do it slowly and gently...doesnt take long. Just be catious and check the installatin guide..nothing more to it. You dont need to pay for something most people can do, unless you dont trust yourself..
