I`d pick blues.
But blues is all about a feelin an ya emotions, it don`t have to be always sad. It can be cause you love ya little girl. You miss yo momma, thinkin about home a thousand miles away, and yes you did yo baby wrong, and she did you wrong, Thinkin bout payday, Wantin a new car to pick some bitches. Blues is real sneaky, it can get up under a lot of stuff and be just waitin to reach out and git you.

the metalheads have it, metal is anything you want it to be, kick off the distorion on a solo and you have classical, only play the chorus and you have punk, slow down and you have rock, change the rhtym and quiet it down and you have blues. What cant you do? ALL TYPES OF MUSIC ARE FUN TO PLAY ON THE GUITAR! its just how it is, I play metal but blues is lots of fun to jam with my friends on.

Music categories are meaningless. Category names are just for selling records, and most greats, Stevie Wonder for instance, defy categorization.

Buddy Rich's sax player, Steve Marcus was right when he said that there's only two types of music - music that's mediocre and music that isn't.

I'd probably have gotten bored and quit ages ago if I could only play one genre.
