:D:D Hey Ray...thanks man...Yeah, I think i always eq and fiddle with things just cause I think your supposed to :p...Tried hard to get good tone right at tracking so I dind't have to fiddle with it much....The Tunacock is straining at the bit...I have a couple more in mind, then I think it will be ready for final assembly :D...

Oh, dude, I LOVE your drum acquisition. That kick is a SEXY BITCH!!! Really nice job all around. Great guitar work, fantastic, balls-hanging-low groove. I'm horny.

Now, on a different note: "Tunacock"??? Do I even want to know??

Ha! Sounds like ya dug it eh?:D....If you go to my 'click site in my link, you will see all the songs Iv'e made for a loose sci-fi type concept album, based on a cyborg, 1/2 chicken, 1/2 fish beast called "The Mighty Tunacock" ...someday I'll finish it....maybe.:p

Sounds really nice man. The guitars have just the right amount of edge to them. Drums sound good too. Nice mix overall...well done :)!!
 
It has a Les Claypool vibe to it. Nice work! My only discrepency is that the lead guitar has the same tone as the rhythm guitars during the solo, it kind of cancels out some key notes in the first solo. That is about the only thing that I could find though. Really enjoyed it. Got words?

Obviously this song is a tracking success story if it sounds this good without having to fiddle with plug-ins and general trickery. Well done, and I hope you keep it similarly raw for the final version.

Really dig Claypool, love his solo album "Of Fungi and Foe" , been listening to it a lot lately:p....Great point on the lead guitar...like I mentioned,I worked real fast on this and didn't really change my settings on my pod to much between the riff/rhythm guitar and lead...so it all does kinda sit in the same space....no words, think I'm gonna just leave it as is after fixing the ending cymbal crash and possibly shortening the ending...thank for listening!

Hey true! thanks for the good word glad ya dug it! Yes, Lil Pedro And The Seedpickers is the name I created on soundclick back when I started my homerecording thing on the computer...I use that for all the stuff I do on my own...my real bands stuff is on there also , its called Flog The Frog....I also go by stratmonkee and variaxman on some other sites...I should probably consolidate all my handles to 1 user name...would be much easier:p one of these days....Thanks for the listen!

Yep, a little different approach for me...I usually rush thru the tracking and then tweak endlessly with eq, plugs , levels etc after the fact...this time...I spent a little more time getting the sound I wanted while I tracked, and then basically just set the levels..seems to have worked better for me this time....

Hey Queepster,

That bass tone is awesome! It's punchy, twangy, and in your face. I'm not listening on monitors, but the drums seem a little quiet. The overall song is pretty catchy. Nice job on this one.
