The vocals sound pretty midrangey. Other than that, it sounds okay. I think the TV parts are a little too out front and the song/melody is a little too repetitive. Not bad though for fake metal. :D
its about as fake metal as you'll get ;)

yep I maybe took the mundane thing too far huh? coming from the UK we excel at mundane :D

kc, i really like your style dude. this is a really cool track.. it has a weird, unique and retro-ish kind of vibe to it. reminds me of donnie darko (and sam darko) and the music used in those movies. you're probably my favorite artist from the forum along with lee rosario.

like the way everything was mixed, it adds to the vibe. the way the vocals sound, the effects, etc etc ... it all contributes to make the song what it is. if it was up to me i wouldn't change a thing, it's amazing how it is.

great song man.

flippen heck dude...I am now questioning your sanity ;)

thank you very much for the kind comments mate...really cheered me up on a rather hungover day lol

Ok so worked on some of the levels, vocals, guitars, and clips

and EQ'd the lead a bit better...took away some high mids and added a little more lower frequencies....does sound like its fitting in better rather than sitting on top of the mix

again thanks for the input :)

Gawd I hate '80's music...hated the '80's pretty much in general...except for the preponderance of coke.

This one sounds more overtly dated than your others but to the extent that I expect that is exactly what you were going for...good job! I didn't get the drum sound on this one. They have a really odd sound - very soft and mid-rangey.

Your voice however is great on this. It is interesting to hear you without so many vocal effects. Really quite nice. The slight accent helps too.

What is this, like your sixth mix ever? You weren't recording at all prior to coming here? I just don't get it...you're a quick study  :D. Good job.

7th mix...just started a couple of months ago...but I listen to advice, listen to other mixes, and I read..I havent listened to a piece of music outside forums since...I wish my instrumentation was a bit better but that'll come with practise hopefully

I did the drums as a laid back kinda jazz beat with the double bass just farting about...then I end up stuck back in the 80s as soon as I turn a keyboard on...I always do lol

I thought more would say something about them but it looks like I got away with it until you pesky kids showed up (scooby doo reference ;) )

Im glad you like my voice..I fucking squirm everytime I play it back...but its getting less and less :)

thank you for the compliment heat
