Another of our videos from a couple of weeks ago..Tried to synch audio from mini disk room recording..it's still pretty dark...but I like the sound of my Strat....the camcorder conked out about 3/4 of the way thru...so there is some random imagrey to finish out the song...maybe a nice listen for a Friday the 13th :p

Hey sounds great...Check out my friends...Visit this site watch and listen...tributes done right!

Enjoy,
Scott.

Dude, start your own thread if you want to spam about your friends. This is Queepy's thread.

I like your live versions, Queep. This sounds pretty good, and quite a choice of a song to cover. The only thing I'd say is that I wished the drummer would just keep the repetitive beat that's on the original. It's a hypnotic beat that really drives the tune.

Not trying to spam, trying to share. The Mellow Yellow crew floors me with their renditions/tributes...They inspired me, just thought they would inspire others too. But hey, you can't control how people react so, sorry about the "spam".

Thanks,
Scott.

Thanks Rami....I hear you on the beat...Steve, our drummer, is pretty active as you can tell....it's hard for him to play a straight beat all the way thru :p...he is influenced by guys like Mitch Mitchell, Ginger Baker etc.. that never play songs the same way twice live :p....plus, with only 3 of us...there is a lot of space to fill...so he likes to fill it :)...Thanks for checking it out and your comments...appreciate it bud!

Start a new thread. Don't hijack someone else's.

I know right?...whoever that is on guitar in your video is doing a great job capturing that backwards tape sound :) Kudos!
Scott.

I really liked how the bass sounded on the intro. For a bit, I wasn't sure if it was coming through my headphones, or if I was hearing something the neighbor was playing. Cool effect.

Though when the rest of the instruments came in, it got a little buried.

I kind of liked the random imagery better than the footage of the band playing... A bunch of guys standing around in the dark isn't a very riviting image. :D

Ha! I kinda like the random imagery myself! We are not the animated I guess :p...I'ts deiffrent when you play in front of people rather then practice...

We did try video again this week, I think the lighting angle is better on this one...and there is just a little movement by myself, besides the drummer :D

Its a cover of The Foo Fighters "Everlong"

Thanks a lot man, you are too kind :D...It's been a lot of fun the last 2 weeks, trying to synch and edit these and share em' with friends...

TNK is VERY 801!
Cool cover - and as I mentioned: not dissimilar to 801's incredible version from the 70's.
Well done.
I take it the FF song is back on the inbuilt mic because of the clicky bass. I don't know the track but it seems a good one. Thanks for providing audio visual delights.

its all too high toned and complicated ....its really a simple mantra ..if you want to put a modern spin on this track and do it justice use baritones and bring it into a deep gothic sonic wall of sound... what you did would have john turning in his grave....not through angst but laughter.
