we don't need rest!!
what's interesting is I used to think there were people that had those "golden ears" and had the capability to hear stuff other people couldn't.
I've found that not to be such a blanket sweeping truth. Non musical friends of mine can tell if something is "bad" sounding, even if they can't explain why. And of course, "bad" is an opinion...everyone has them.
But if something is boomy, harsh, tinny, shrill, muffled, noisy, etc, etc... you don't need golden ears to hear that and be wrong about commenting that it is "bad" because of that.
Now as far as musical complexity goes, I think the Stravinkski theme has been alluded to... and there ARE musicians that can hear musical themes that most others could only HOPE to understand looking at them on a score or piece of notation and would never in their lifetime hear the "meaning" of those notes.
That said, this music does not posess this "complexity" and and isn't "Is, just because it is". It is like taking all the parts of a watch, throwing them on the table, and expecting them to fall together into a finished product. Musically, this composition is still in the pieces form and far from being finished. An admirer would therefore enjoy looking at the pieces, as just works of art in themself... Like just listening to a single note and enjoying it for what it is or why it exists and how it was produced. Similar to looking at the randomness of waves crashing on the shore.
Regarding the sound, that has already been covered.
I can only say judging by the authors responses and desire to improve, this is just a prank and yet some people don't know it is. Same with the author. Lots of fat people look in the mirror and actually think they are skinny. They fool themselves.
Anyrate, due to a serious lack of "seriousness" both in replies and execution and responses taken to heart, I'm finding I am replying to these tunes in this fashion, about once every three years. Too bad this stuff still sounds like it did back in 2000. I think it could have grown in leaps and bounds with all the positive comments over the last 9 years.
Did Blue Bear ever comment on this stuff... lol!
