Noob Help :(

Hi, I'm sorta new to this whole recording thing.
I have a t.c electronic konnekt 8 that I'm using right now but I don't know how to set it up to a program. I have cubase, cool edit pro, and fl studios. The unit works fine and I did install the latest drivers and the computer can detect it. I plugged in my guitar into the unit and I'm stuck on how to record it now..

Uh, you just posted an hour ago on a Sunday night. Not many people around who might know how to help you. be patient, hopefully someone will see this and help you out.

but on a more serious note (i HATE it when people do that ^^ to me lol)

make sure you read the manual front to back, also make sure you set the konnect as your default sound device in the windows control panel, and and make sure you make it your default input device in which ever DAW you like best.

Maybe try a search on Youtube. There are lot's of video tutorials and demos and whatnots on the internets.

yeah, that's my job and I love it.

But in this case, Cubase came with the Konnect 8, Cool Edit Pro is super old and FL used to be a free download. So I didn't see any reason to pursue the piracy angle.
