Allen & Heath ZED 16 Daisy Chaining?

Hey everyone, our church is trying to upgrade our PA System(see other post) And we need a mixer type interface that will stream at least 24 independent channels. Does anyone know if daisy chaining 2 Allen & Heath ZED 16 is possible(making 32 independent channels)? Thnx in advance, Jacob

Hi JacobShah,

I have no idea whether or not you can daisy chain the ZED 16 but if you don't already own one then you might like to think about holding off till next year (2010) as I have been told Allen & Heath will be bringing out a 24 channel (or even 32 channel) version.

If my memory serves me correctly, you cannot daisychain USB, only firewire, so in theory it would work. Do you know anyone who has another so you can try it out first? When the new model comes out you could still daisy chain, and probably get a really good deal by sticking with the slightly older machine. Best of luck!
