How do I explain this!!

Well..... i want to do something with ProTools and i am going to try my best to explain..

I need the screen to move with the tracks...
somethng like instead of the bar going through the track, the whole screen moves while the "bar' stays in the middle while playing or recording

BTW i am using PT LE 7.6

Unfortunately you can't do this in LE. The scrolling on playback head is only available in HD.

The best you can do is scroll page by page. I think it's under the "options" menu.



by the way...doubt you've got version 7.6....as it doesn't exist :P
 
Curious, what would be the advantage? Seems like it would be a little hard on the eyes (head. :)
 
U sure because I know on one of the older versions it used 2 do that cause I used 2 get frustrated when I couldn't figure out how 2 turn it off cuz i hated that lol.

sorry. i think is the 7.8...

thanks for your help... i wish LE had that feature, its very helpful while tracking..

yeh, it's unfortunate that it's not available..


again, i doubt you have 7.8..after 7.4 came 8!
 
like messianicdreams said, go under "Operations" menu and click scrolling and you should have options to scroll during playback or after playback or no auto-scrolling...if these don't work for you than your SOL!:D Good luck
 
Or buy the Complete Production Toolkit which adds continuous scrolling to LE
