I saw the violin style bass, saw a lot of different body styles from Univox, Westone, Danelectro. But nothing yet that's similar to the OP's picture.

Think the Kay ThinTwin was first to have Silvertone name stamped in the early fifties,Kay and Silvertone marketed the same or very similair guitar, ugly brute as well.:D

Think but not 100% sure the re-issues are Chinese built. They are not exactly goin all out on advertising eh.;)

cool, I never knew that.

Ya I don't understand why that is unless they are deliberately trying to show a financial loss for tax purposes:D

Silvertones had tape bindings and lipstick pickups,I don't think it's a Silvertone or Danelectro. The headstock is similar to newer Danelectros.

Ya but not all of them

that is a Silvertone trust me I remember this guitar from playing one identical to it.

It might be worth noting that the bass in the video was a match for NF's guitar.

I was looking at the odd Italian guitars and found this one with a shark bite out of the body-no cigar but it's still funny..
And this website is hilarious as well!

I think the guitar in the vid go the spot for colour - white suits, white gits, white piano etc.
The head is almost danelectro though isn't it.
Heit & Woolworths were also badges the of MIJ guitars went under. Some excellent guitars though. Ebay is selling that era for $500 or more - partly silliness partly some fine guitars.
