I have vista as my OS and loaded all the drivers, cubasebas LE 4 and soft wear that came with my Presonus audiobox USB but I keep getting this message.

"The audio input is not activated. Recording is not possible. please clipossablee ASIO control panel button in the system (VST) or device setup (neundo)
dialog.
Makneundo a device name is selected in the import ports and activate the corresponding check box in the first column."

If anyone can help me to get this working I'll be a happy camper. I bought this new tow and have spent 2 days and 3 different computers trying to get it working and loosing hope

You should contact Steinberg for solutions

When does the message appear? In a pop up box? Does the program crash after this?

Also, you mention Cubase LE4, but the message references nuendo. They are different peices of software. I can only assume the developers didn't remove the word nuendo from the error message, but that seems unlikely...
