I fucking hate all of you.

If you're hating on everyone who drums better than you, then I'll be your best friend! Except I have to fucking hate YOU (and crankz, dross, and rest of you), so I'm not sure how that'll all work......

:D

We've just finished this track. Drummer used a Tama Starclassic Maple kit.

Sorry it's not a video.

Cool. Why is it panned to the right like that??? Good playing, but it sounds very distant. I don't mean because of the reverb. I can't imagine that cutting through a mix with the whole band. I don't know if you're getting lots of phase cancellation, but I don't hear a stereo mix at all. It sounds like the whole kit is sitting at 3 o'clock.

yeah, the toms sound pretty phasey in particular. right at 1:08 and again right at the end it really peeks through.

it is odd-sounding. tilted to the right, and the reverb isn't helping--it's like there's a constant tail going.

on that note--nice playing, thebangsite!!! good luck with your recording! :)

If you can sit through a few minutes of Horrible Noise, I break a bass drum beater at the end. We're just a couple 40-somethings getting loaded & grasping at the glory days. Drums still sound like ass, that's why I'm here looking for noob stuff... Still.

i don't think the drum sound is all that bad, really. i'm watching the HD version, and it seems perfectly acceptable. not stellar or anything, but i think you're being a bit hard on yourself. the kick is a little boomy, but hell it looks like it's what, a 32 incher?!?! :)
