Yeah man. I'm digging "Can You See Me". One of my favorite Hendrix tunes, ad a bit of a forgotten classic. Sounds live and raw. Good stuff, Queep.

Thanks Rami....I love Jimi's version from Montery Pop....kicks ass!!

Wow - that Sabbath really cooks you guys...like one non-stop train ride....
Very good job.....:D

Can You See Me...love that song. Always love to hear the big covers...Hendrix, The Beatles, The Stones, Bob Dylan (don't hear many of them)...

War Pigs - don't really like the reverb during the verses, makes it kinda hard to understanding. I love this song, you guys did a good job. Where's the bass drum though?

Can You See Me - This reminds me....I saw Hendrix walking downtown the other day. I mean, it had to be him...it looked like him, he dressed like him, and he had a leftie strat.

Not that familiar with this particular song, but its good (I even own Are You Experienced, this is depressing). As far as playing and quality goes, I think it has an edge over War Pigs. Great job!

Yup, gotta love the classics! ;) Would like to do a Dylan cover, but something besides Knocking On Heavens door :p...

Thanks for commenting seafroggy! We struggle getting a good live kick sound in our mix at times...we just record these with a room mic so it's not a great fidelity sound....maybe that contributes to the reverb sounding vocal on warpigs....I love playing that Hendrix tune...I did not have my strat that day, but played it on my Gibson Firebird...so it was a little diffrent without the whammy bar/strat tone.....

The bassist almost has the sound down on War Pigs.
I spent the mid 70's on a diet of Sabbath, Queen, Led Zep, Lou Reed & Leonard Cohen soI'm very attached to war Pigs et al.
Good all around on l'cochon d'guerre. (oh, just noticed how close my surname is to french piggy!)
the solo is nice'n;eavy man.
Thnaks for the blast.

I noticed the hat stand also....must be a mic near it....:D

Great version of War Pigs!
You guys are tight as hell! Even the recording quality sounds like it dropped out of the 70's. Sabbath will always be God to me. Well done!

Gotta listen to the other one now....:D:D

Wow! Can you see me has that big old festival mood. Beautiful!
Voice is flat here and there, but so was Henrix'. It seems to fit. Great!

Cheers
Joe :D:D:D:D:D

Hey Greg, yeah man, Drummer was in spaz mode that night...there were sticks and pieces of hardware flying all over the place :p.....as always , we just used one little stereo recording mic out in the middle of the room..about 20 feet out front of us, on a mic stand...it picks shit up pretty good for a little cheap ass thing... thanks for listening and the good word man!

joeym Great version of War Pigs!
