My only suggestion would be to make it a bit tighter. There are parts where the mandolin can take liberty with timing, and parts where it cant. The beginning is where I would keep it in strict time, to get the listener accustomed to the rhythm before taking any liberties.

Tightening would be handy if you could.
It's a cool tango melody so you ought to put the time into it.
The arrangements are spot on - not overemphasising the rhythm.
How about a death metal arrangement?
Having spent some time trying to wring a sequence of notes from my mandolin I can only pine over your dexterity with it.

I agree with DavidK--nice to hear something different. Very cool feel to this. I especially like the unison lines with the guitar and mandolin. I get the wet feel and appreciate the reverb--but it muddies up the mando a bit. Don't know what kind of reverb you're using, but if you have the ability to filter the verb, it might be worth trying to cut some mids out of the 'verb, leaving more highs. You'll still have that nice wet sound, but the mandolin itself will be a bit more clear.

Thanks Dave. It was late and I have a tendency to jam and improv more than I should rather than playing a note on melody. This is especially true when I play the mandolin. I get carried away with what I am doing. I played in an improv bluegrass setting for too many years in the 80's and the musical hangover is still apparent. I will try to tighten it up a bit now that I have a solid melody.
