C'mon Pohaku--fess up. That's for you, not your daugher, right? :D

Actually, I wish. But my 13 year old daughter is actually taking guitar lessons, in between the sax and piano lessons, and I'm viewing it as something to incent her to practice (and to keep her away from my guitars, ahem).

This is the 2006 Crafted In Japan reissue of the 1986 Made In Japan reissue of the original 1968-69 flower power telecaster. It looks like they've also done another limited run of this guitar in 2008. Got that? There was also a hot pink paisley version (and related reissues) produced to capitalize on the psychedelic movement of the time. The originals were not a marketing hit and production was thus pretty limited. James Burton is perhaps the best known user of this model (pink paisley telecaster). An acquired taste no doubt. They also made a P-Bass in this finish.

I hope so. At that age, the attention span is amazingly brief and boys have become a pretty constant distraction. Now if she'd only be interested in staying in her room practicing guitar 24/7 instead of hanging out with the boys.:D

I almost bought me one of them '86 pink paisley Teles, back in the day, but I wasn't that into Prince, and I thought people would get the wrong idea . . . :o

Prince sure can wail, even if he doesn't actually play the Fenders . . .

Nope. The paisley was pink and the floral was blue. There are strats and basses as well.

Man oh man...that paisley strat is cool! But it's so very...well...pink! I don't care--if I saw one for the right price, I think I'd buy it! Thanks for the G.A.S. guys!

It's a living room, right? That's what I call living!

Sometimes, it looks like this...

Most everything is now put away, out of the way.

When my wife does get angry, I remind her that (as she told me once upon a time) she married me cause she hoped I would bring music into her home.:)

The bottom photo is from a jam session we had here one day.

Yeah, it does get a bit crazy around here at times. At least my kiddies have something to do other than get in trouble and drugs.
