Actually, I wish. But my 13 year old daughter is actually taking guitar lessons, in between the sax and piano lessons, and I'm viewing it as something to incent her to practice (and to keep her away from my guitars, ahem).
This is the 2006 Crafted In Japan reissue of the 1986 Made In Japan reissue of the original 1968-69 flower power telecaster. It looks like they've also done another limited run of this guitar in 2008. Got that? There was also a hot pink paisley version (and related reissues) produced to capitalize on the psychedelic movement of the time. The originals were not a marketing hit and production was thus pretty limited. James Burton is perhaps the best known user of this model (pink paisley telecaster). An acquired taste no doubt. They also made a P-Bass in this finish.
