Glad you liked it. The vihuela has a much smaller sound than the guitar, so breathing can be an issue and I'm a breather for sure. Holding my breath for the duration of the piece got to be a bit tiring, though, so I gave up on that approach after a few blackouts.
Seriously, breathing sounds are a pretty common occurance on classical recordings (remember Glenn Gould?) and to me they serve as a reminder that there's a person behind the instrument. I gave up worrying about them a long time ago.

I think it is a good thing...what abot any arm on guitar body movement/ sound...was there any of that?No, just a lot of sniffing on my part. I try to be careful about clothing for sessions - avoid anything loud.
I've worn dustmasks before to try to cut down on some of the breathing noise. It helps a bit, but the downside is that it gets pretty warm and can be somewhat distracting. Depending on how well your mics sound off axis, you can also try aiming your mics in a way that avoids picking up the player's breathing. The guitar recordings on the website (solo and with the singer) were done with the mics in quite close to the body just behind the soundhole at the lower bout, aimed about 30 degrees off axis toward the floor. The placement helped me cut down on the breathing noise as well as reduce the proximity effect of having the mics in so close.
