well i'm thoroughly confused then. I saw an invoice, paid it, then after reading the total (yes i read the total after, i was excited what can i say) realised it was for .31

should I pay this invoice? the total is dispalying correctly

Ok, so I already know I'm going to sound like a d*ck for asking this but....
Are you still going with an eariler comment of yours that those of us who were at the end of the shipping in the last buy (got my stuff after Christmas)were going to be in the first group this time? Sorry to ask. Just got hired to do a decent paying recording job which will be starting next month.

Is there a reason you Choose to answer these type of questions and skip over a Valid question like the one I submitted about the Shock mounts? Don't get me wrong... I know your busy. You may have accidentally skipped over it.

I'm taking it as the Shock mounts (es-24) got lost in the shuffle... and even though we paid for them we probably won't see them. This question has been raised in the past and as far as I can see (search) there has Not been a answer.

They were an option on the last buy. Something happened to the effect where they weren't made/late. From what I understand (and hope) those who ordered acm3 shockmounts in the last group buy will be receiving them this time around. Someone correct if I'm wrong.

Amen to that, even though I didn't really post before.

btw, Hi everyone. I'm Steve, and I'm a gear addict. I don't have much time to post on boards, but I love this group buy like I would my child. I am truly grateful to Chance, Randy, and anyone else involved with making such a cool thing happen. My 6802T and pair of ACM-3s have been serving me soooooo well in the past year, I just can't wait for this year's order.

Like the rest of the domestic buyers, I'm eager to see my gear, but I really don't think cash flow is the problem. We've already paid for the mics and pre's. The remaining invoicing is just for shipping, and nobody has incurred any cost for shipping yet because the gear is sitting in Chance's warehouse.

The one problem Chance mentioned is floor space at the shipping facility. There is only way to address that: the few people whose names are on the outsides of those packages need to pay for their shipping fees, so Chance can ship the boxes.

But the payment process appears to have been broken until last night, according to this:

So, even if those folks had TRIED to pay, they probably couldn't.

Randy appears to have fixed the shipping-payment system, so I expect to see some movement soon as those international buyers pay, their gear gets shipped, and the shipping staff has more room to breathe (and pack).

I suspect the $0.31 invoice issue reported here is another glitch in the Group Buy system. Do the math -- you can't send a first-class letter for $0.31, so there's not much chance UPS/FedEx will bring you 50 lbs of gear for that.

I'm going to try to sit tight and not ask any questions. Wish me luck. :)

I am extremely busy trying to get these sessions finished today and tomorrow. Yes the replacment ribbons and shockmounts are here. Payments are starting to roll in. About the 31 cents transaction, I'll look into it tomorrow. If I don't post for a while, it's only because I'm very busy these days (duh) LOL
 
Oh yeah about "those who were last, last time would be first this time"? That was if I was doing the shipping (like last time) There are almost 400 orders and 6000 pcs, I don't think you would want me doing this alone. LOL

I don't want you doing it alone and I certainly don't want you to do it after you've been drinking which is certainly what you'll be doing if you have to do it alone.

this whole undertaking is totally awesome. Thank you Chance. I'm one of the non-US types taking a punt on the shipping/VAT/Duty thing, but who cares? Not I. When it comes, it comes. Power to you Chance.

So there is another invoice now in the console, i take it the issue is resolved and I can pay shipping now?

and it's worth noting that i don't think you'd beat your 6802T mercilessly for getting you the wrong beer out of the fridge while you're watching your shows, cuz i mean for crying out loud, cant the little bastard just LISTEN for once, then maybe you wouldn't have to drink so much....
 
I let my 6802T go to a slumber party at Marik's house - before you know it the 6802T wanted a Peluso capsule and a TAB-Funkenwerk transformer -- peer pressure no doubt.
 
I'm not a big fan of saying "lol"... but I actually laughed out loud from that one.
 
Hey! I am getting FLOODED with E-mails about "extras". I'm sorry, not being rude, but I just don't have the time to answer. After everything is shipped, I'll see whats left and post/mass mail for those who are on the mass-mail list.
