I found a similiar thing

GBpayment.jpg

Clicked invoice, chose credit card, entered details hit pay, then this screen appeared thanking me for my Paypal payment....did you receive my shipping chance? should have been $207.68.

I got confrmation of a bancard transaction for $207.68, but has not yet been deposited in my account.
I just checked, and you (wrecked) have not even been invoiced yet. How/why did you pay this without being invoiced?
If you used Pay Pal, I will NOT receive the actual payment. I have been banned from using Pay Pal.

Perhaps you should abandon Randy's system. It seems to be broken and whithout Randy around to fix it it seems it can only cause headaches.

Is it possible that someone has hacked into the system and is diverting payments? I sure hope not!

With all due respect, dude, those of us who shelled out HUNDREDS of dollars MANY months ago are expecting to have our orders expidited before this discussion even begins. Please stop cramming Chances box and clogging this forum with selfish requests. The faster Chance is able to get out the orders that were placed PROPERLY, and ACCORDING TO THE GROUP BUY RULES, the faster he'll be able to address the POSSIBILITY of extras. Please stop wasting his time and ours by asking him to respond to this question AGAIN.
sorry, wasnt tryin to step on anyone's toes.

no need to throw a hissy fit, i understand you paid yours -- I havent been "clogging his inbox" -- i simply was responding to one of his posts, where it appeared as tho he had some kind of list you may need to be on to get some extras if they exist. Im sure he has the ability to choose to respond to or ignore any posts he wishes without your help :D

anyhow, money talks, and i have some for some extras. big deal. ill wait.

I have to confess that not being on the receiving end, I don't know how you are notified about your invoices. (Let me/us know) Payments ARE coming in so the system is working. The 40 foot container is empty (ugh), inventory has been taken, and we will start shipping next week.

I just did a quick search and 2 people that have been invoiced and paid, are on this forum. Perhaps they can give a step by step "how to" for everyone.

I just made my payment a moment ago without any problems. There was a bit of a lag time between getting the first email notice (unofficial invoice that I assume everyone got), the post on the user console letting everyone know what the official figure was (including service fee), and the point where the system was able to accept payment.

I made my payment via credit card and also got a message that I'd be notified by paypal. I suspect that this is an automated response built in before the paypal fiasco and trust that there's no cause for panic. In any case, my invoice now bears a "PAID" stamp, so unless I hear otherwise I guess my new toys will soon be on the way.:)

Looks like things are working. Thanks, Chance.

Just now, user name "rmaier" from this forum has paid. perhaps he can explain how it's done.

Definately did not use paypal, I was prompted to enter my cc details and after hitting pay that was the screen. Order wouldn't have come up as my user name because I'm sending one of my orders to a friend. But if you have received the payment for that amount (unless coincidently someone elses shipping was the same to the cent) it sounds like they are going through, but just displaying "thanks for the paypal payment".

Maybe optimistic, but sounds like there is nothing to worry about?

Pics!!!

OK, I know some of you guys are going to be waiting awhile, so I tried to make a little pictorial gear extravaganza for you while you wait. I was so lucky as to live close to Chance so I just stopped by to pick up a truck load (literally) of gear.

First, the man himself!!! Chance and a ACMP81 at his studio....

THANK YOU CHANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Making my son help me unload. He should be thankful as I record him on drums with his band sometimes......

Gear for myself and a buddy - 29 pieces total! Everything seemed well packed! That was a relief.

I got 2 of each type of pre!

I was pretty impressed with the build quality of the pre's. Definately sturdier than I suspected. The front panels look to be solid aluminum that is almost 1/4" thick!!! The top and sides are very durable steel. Detented pots where they should be. All pots feel nice.

After awhile, I just was digging them so much I started to get bleary eyed, but I couldn't stop taking pics after waiting almost 6 months!!!
