bollocks redux!
Doing a little Summer Solstice Cleaning in the hopes of scraping enough cash together to get another sweet NOS tube for the LaChapell 583s I have coming next week.

First up, a Shure A27M sold for $49 shipped.

Second, a pair of dark green 15' Mogami XLR Cables. I got these from a cable maker and they are made with Neglex 2549 cable and Neutrik XLR connectors. I went through a phase where I decided to horde Mogami and Canare XLR cables as if there was the threat of an impending shortage. I can definitely spare a couple from the herd. Very, very light use. $20 shipped to the US for one or $35 shipped to the US for both.

Third, I have a nice NOS GE 5 Star 6072a tube that I planned to put in some mic at some undetermined point (another hording phase). Great replacement for that asstastic Chinese 12ax7 in your tube mic. I never used tube at all, though I did use a GE JAN NOS 6072a tube (which was the cheaper of the two) in a microphone with great results. I got this from a member on Gearslutz who goes by the handle "Bowie" and who sold NOS tubes to a bunch of members there. I can't test this, but many folks here gave Bowie bigups for the quality of his tubes (including me-- I got another tube from him, a GE JAN 6072a, which I used in a mic and was very pleased with), so this is as-is, but if the tube is a bust, send it back within a few days and I'll refund your money minus shipping. $35 OBO shipped to the US.

Fourth, I have a couple of unused 1GB Ram SODIMMS left over from when I did the whole "Pry your Mac Mini open with a putty knife and pimp it out" thing (which was very successful incidentally). I have one Kingston SODIMM, which I paid a little under $30 IIRC and a Corsair Value Ram 1GB SODIMM that I paid around $20 (after a rebate) IIRC. If you're interested at all, just make an offer on one or both.

Fifth, I have a Chinese made OEM Metal Pop Filter, which looks remarkably similar to the Stedman Pro pop screen that I paid like $50 for. I got this for really no other reason than because it looked remarkably similar to the Stedman Pop Screen that I paid $50 for and have never even opened up the package. $20 shipped to the US.

Finally I have a Telefunken 12AX7 that I bought from a reputable ebay seller early in the year. At the time, it was advertised as NOS, but I have no way of verifying that and I haven't used it at all. It has the diamond mark on the bottom. The Telefunken badge label is partially intact and it has gray ladder plates that measure about 16mm (I guess these would be 17mm longplates, but my ruler says 16mm). I don't really know anything about it other than that. $25 shipped to the US (this is as-is, because I can't test the tube). A rare chance to pimp out your ART Tube MP or Epi Valve Jr. with a Tele 12ax7 on the cheap. I'll even throw in a couple of other random 12ax7's I have lying around if you want them-- a lightly used JJ 12ax7 that I took out of a UA m610 and 2 unused "Chinese" 12ax7B's-- one with gray plates, the other with metal plates (?). If the Tele tube is a bust, send it back within a few days and I'll refund your money minus shipping and you can keep the three other tubes.

I'm on the Good Guys list a mess of times here and have 100% feedback on p-bay as "koj-dogg"

I might be interested in that 5 star.
Is it the triple mica type?

Do you take p-pal?

it's a double mica. i did a quick search and i saw several tube sellers selling these for $55-60 plus shipping! i do take paypal-- please pm me if you want the tube.

Shure A27M sold, Tele 12AX7 (+3 bonus tubes) sold. There's been interest in the 6072a tube (obviously) and the Metal Pop Screen, but they might still be available if I don't hear back from the interested parties or if they back out.

I'm kinda surprised that no one has been interested in the Mogami Cables yet. I mean, I know that Mr. Bowes has awesome deals on XLR cables right now, but these are Neglex 2549 cables with Neutrik connectors. I paid about $40 for each of these after shipping, and I'm asking less than that for both!

Also, I'm going to have a couple more excellent 12AX7's to list in the next couple of days...

GE 6072a tube sold! Thanks Tmix :)

Again, I have a couple more sweet 12ax7's coming to this listing soon-- maybe one additional extremely sweet 12ax7 (not sure yet).

No one needs a pair of badass dark/forest-y green XLR's??

BUMP - I have another Telefunken 12ax7 for sale. As I mentioned, I've been buying a bunch of NOS 12ax7's for a new preamp and I've gotten the one on my wish list (50's Mullard long plate with square getter and 50's Raytheon Black plate) and I got the pre yesterday and it actually came with a nice Fisher NOS tube stock! So I have more than I need.

The Telefunken 12ax7 I'm listing now was recently tested by the dealer I bought it from at 105%/105% and is free of shorts or leaks. Most of the lettering has rubbed of (not uncommon), but it has the diamond mark on the bottom between the pins marking it as a Telefunken tube. It is very similar to the other one-- ribbed gray box plates (roughly 15 or 16 mm long) with a halo getter.

Because I know this was recently tested, I'm pricing this a bit higher than the other Tele I listed and w/o the bonus tubes. $35 shipped

If anyone wants the tube plus any of the other things I've listed (Mogami Neglex 2549 cables, Metal Pop Filter, Ram) I can cut package deals.

Telefunken and cables received and I couldn't be happier. I put that Tele onto my Hickok tube tester and it pegged out at around 95%!!! Awesome!!! I immediately put it into an AKG SolidTube Mic and the detail and presence were astounding. Keep in mind that the Sylvania that was in there was no slouch either.

I couldn't be happier bro. Feel free to drop me a line if you have anything else to sell.

Awesome! I'm sorry the tube tested a little bit lower than I had been told it tested at, but I'm very glad you're happy with it! I have no testing equipment myself so I'm at the mercy of the dealers I buy from in that regard, but I make a point to only buy tubes from either established, reputable tube sellers (whether on or off ebay).

Regarding your last statement, I happen to have just posted some other stuff  :D

Nonsense... Different testers will give different readings. If he was using a newer tester he was probably giving a reading based on modern tubes. My tester is an old Hickok so the data it uses is 1950-1960s data. 95% is spectacular. I have brand new tubes that don't test this strong.

Pleasure doing business with you!
