I recently got it installed and it sounds awesome. its alive and responsive and ballsy. I will definitely buy more pickups from them even if the customer service is a bit icy, but i guess you get a lot of morons messaging your business online with inane questions.

good stuff.

Same here--but I had no problems w/customer service. Got new pups and a "superstrat" wiring kit for my 40th anniversary strat--I'm loving 'em.

Yes the GFS P-ups from Guitarfetish.com are very good pickups!

I am fixing to do a mod on a LP bass with a couple of these myself

the Xavier guitars are very nice guitars for the price as well

Grizzly Industries also has somevery nice pickups also

if you know anyone doing a strat mod Grizzly has loaded pickguards that are very inexpensive and have very nice sounding Pups, good pots and a good 5 way selector switch and the wiring job is very nice and neat as well.

the last strat mod I did with the grizzly pickguards, I did not shield the back of the PG and it is totally hum free and unbelievably super good tone to be so darn inexpensive.

both companys are good to deal with it is just that Grizzly is on the west coast and I am on the east coast so it takes a little longer for my merchandise to arive but it is well worth the wait,

I just thought I would turn you guys on to Grizzly.com if you did'nt already know about them:cool:

GFS site is great..Ebay site--NOT!

I have the GFS pickups installed in 5 of my guitars, 3 Teles, and 2 Fender Strats and they are quite good so far. The only problem I had was when I ordered a pickguard with a bridge humbucker rout from their EBay website and I was lead to believe it had shipped out. 2 weeks later after several ignored inquiries I was finally told it was backordered and was not expected for 3 months!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
I have always had good luck dealing with Jay but I will not use the EBay site.....

yup, and they make fine tools and equipment. they started selling guitar kits years ago...i guess they've expanded their inventory to include parts.

yes and some of the better kits you can buy.

I bought an Xavier 600 for $164 just to have a cheapo to take to my beach gigs so I wouldn't care what the hell happened to it. Oh, and it was red metalflake .... it's ended up being my current fav guitar over any of my other much more expensive gits. It's light ..... stays in tune ..... p/ups sound great.
Amazing for such a price.

yup, welcome to the club!

i'd say their customer service is not icy, but ... non-redundant - only the answer to your question and nothing else.
