I was just notified with the name and E-dress of the person who threw the wrench in the spokes. His reason to PP was that he did not get a reciept. I won't post his name, but I relayed that he has made MANY PEOPLE UPSET. To that person: YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN YOUR REFUND A LONG TIME AGO IF YOU WOULD HAVE ASKED! Your intentions are OBVIOUS now. You tied up your own money too! The funds have been returned. I hope you are satified. Oh,, and thank you for choosing to participate with us.

On another note A BIG thanks for all the support and words of encouragment from everyone here.

Just curious... did you get this information from a participant or from Paypal?

Others may disagree with me but I feel that considering the amount of money each individual has committed or is committing to this GB, the very large number of participants and the varying degrees of concern, frustration and possibly anger each of the participants must have been feeling that there is a moral and ethical basis for naming the individual.

JTC, in the For Sale forum here, there is a constantly running thread called the "Good Guys List" where people are able to "endorse" others who they've had satisfactory transactions with, likewise, when someone is having difficulties with a seller, they are at liberty to post about the issue in the hope that at best, it will be satisfactoraly resolved, or at worst, the seller ends up with a "black mark" against their name.....I have seen this type of action used successfully on a number of forums and virtually always with the full support of other forum members.

I don't see this current situation as being that much different..........one person has caused a great deal of inconvenience (and angst) to members of numerous forums.........hide their identity and they'll sit back smuggly and know they've got away with it, "out" them and they'll probably think twice before ever trying the same inconsiderate stunt again.

I'll second that. As much as I'd like to know if it's someone around here or not, I'd prefer to focus on the current issues and come back to this later. It'll give us something to do whilst waiting for our new gear!

Just did a little research and wanted to throw this tid-bit of info out there... and like FoxNews says, We report, you decide.

When you register for the GB, we ask for the "main" forum that you are a member of, and the username there... Reason for this, is that should Chance need to contact you about your order, the GB in general...etc, and he's not getting through to you via email, he might be able to track you down on the boards...

Well, the guy that has caused this big mess listed that he was a member of THIS board... BUT, there is not a user on this board with that Username. Also I can't find this Username on any of the other popular boards either... He also has a Yahoo.com email address... that I'm betting is VERY YOUNG.... Probably was only created for this purpose...

This looks like an "on purpose" type of job to me.. but like I said in the beginning of this post: We report, you decide.
