I almost bought one of those years ago when they first came out. It sat on the wall of my neigborhood guitar shop for a couple years and no one wanted it. Then Fleetwood Mac decided to tour again and it vanished very soon after.

Very nice instrument! I've got one of his basses and it's very cool, if a bit idiosyncratic.
 
I would love to have a typical hollow body rockabilly gretsch but with a smaller scale length like a jagmaster. My small hands would love that. Anybody know anything like that?
 
Those frets allow better intonation on deep tunings I believe. I know John Mayer used to use a similar one for the song "Neon." The tuning for that song is standard, but the low E string tuned to C instead.

Gibson Byrdland. It's a short scale hollow body with a carved top. Not as deep as some of the Gretsch guitars, but very playable. Here's mine:

Nope, nothing to do with intonation. I don't know if Ralph says it is or not, but it doesn't do a thing for intonation. It DOES, however, make the guitar a lot more ergonomic to play. It also has some effect on the tone of the individual strings, in that it can make your low strings a bit tighter sounding (as they are at a higher tension), which can be a good thing for some people. But the real advantage of it is strictly ergonomic. The slant to the frets makes stretches and barre chords less stressful on your hands. I made a guitar with them, and it's really nice. It looks like it would take a while to learn to play it, but I found the learning curve to be very shallow.

Not at all. In actual fact, your fingers want to slant the way those frets slant naturally. Next time you are playing, look at your index finger when playing a first position F barre chord. Now play a C chord in the eighth position. Now play an F in the 13th position. Your index finger naturally goes that way, and it is only with practice and effort that we force them into the vertically upright fashion of a traditional fingerboard. The Novax fingerboard is extremely comfortable to play.

My current guitar is near dream, i love the body shape, after swaping the pickups and trem saddles it should be boss, it stays in tune pretty good, and i have had it so long i'm comfortable with the action, its a cheap squier cyclone. I dig the mustangs shape even though its associated with kurt cobain.

I actually plan to modify my electric guitar with some p90 pickups, and forego the price tag, but that washburn acoustic remains my favorite guitar.

The entire guitar resonated when you played a G on the low E. :D
