doubling up the kick?

Of this???? !!!!
Damn! Some folks need to go out and get laid once in a while. If you do a DP does she squeal twice as loud, or is it an incremental thing (this is a much more interesting topic, dontcha think?) :-D

I'd say it depends on where you're coming from. If there's already one in the ass, the pussy ain't gonna add much, but if you're doin' her standard, and another gent goes for her ass, she'll probably do more than squeal, and DEFINITELY more than twice as loud as just one in the front-butt. Haha

Man, I go away for a few days and come back and this thread has totally been derailed!

I like Jaegermeister.
:)

Okay, I'm off to the Cave where I can be myself... oh yeah, and I've got to write some song for the song writing contest.

I need to get my brother to work on it with me - this will be the worst song in HRBBS songwriting history!

Here's a thought.........

Couldn't you just attach an egg beater to a foot pedal?

Great photo of a real silly idea, Dogman. Of course your avatar photo is always a great double. :-)

I swear to god, I tracked a band once that sounded like they put the kick sideways and dumped a bunch of fighting gerbils in it, then recorded their romps. It was so off-time, I can't even explain...

I saw I guy using one of these at the NAMM show last year. It was un-f**king believable what he could play with it.

Of course I could never do anything with it.:(

Maybe I'm just retarded, but I don't even see how it works. I would have guessed a triple-kick system would have the normal two pedals - one for each foot - and then one of those funky heel-pedals for your non-high-hat-foot's heel... I only see two pedals though - and three beaters?

Yes, but the duallist usually works on a double chain, so you get 2 beaters (therefore 2 hits) on one pedal. What you do when you want a single hit I don't know, maybe metal music doesn't conform to those old standards any more?

There is a lever on the right side of the pedal to engage/disengage the second mallet.

It's a neat idea, but I'd rather just be faster.:D

The crowd stares in confusion as the band they've been waiting to see for so long suddenly stops playing right before the half-time breakdown they all knew was coming in their favorite song....as the drummer crawls around on the ground trying to turn his "two for one" triple kick pedal into the standard "you must actually kick one time for each beater-hit" necessary for the next section of their song...it's not so bad here, and the crowd happily forgets what a gay thing they just witnessed....but, interestingly, they are not so forgiving when he has to do it again, right at the climax of the breakdown - when they are about to explode into the fast part again....

To think that some drummers actually try to just get faster!! Clearly the better system here, folks!
