Harvey,, I just thought of something. You have a package set to arrive on Wednesday. Will there be someone there to accept it ?
 
They'll just leave it on the porch - no big deal. I'm way out in the country. Somebody here will bring it in. Often, the UPS driver just leaves it in the house.

I didn't get in on the buy but will you have a 6802 to sell? I'm curious what Harvey will think of it. I'm looking for something in that style.

I'll be posting all available mics (left over from the GB) after the NAMM show. I would normally refrain from posting names, but I am not getting a response from "Lucas Proud" and another with the last name of "esprito" Your mics have been ready to go for months now but I haven't gotten a response for shipping. If I don't get some sort of communication soon, I will reverse your payment and offer them here. My E-mail box as well as my PM box is full and I have to delete daily, so sorry if I don't reply to anyone.
 
chance, i know lucas personally and will call him first thing tomorrow morning and tell him to get his friggin act together.
 
chance, i spoke to lucas and he's going to email you tonight. he thought he'd just gotten ripped off or something (he's not active on this forum).

Unless he's changed e-mail addresses, it doesn't sound like he checks his e-mail either.:D
 
If he thought I ripped him off,,,, Why didn't he try contacting me? (I'm not hiding LOL) He invested a LOT of money in these mics and I would think he would be chasing me down. Plus he knew to expect a "request for shipping" from Pay Pal

I believe the NAMM show starts today. IF I read it right the manufacturers will be there with the new pres and compressors. Hopefully with news about the ribbons too.
I may be wrong about this (and usually am)
 
One of these days I still figure I'll be invited. :D I'm definitely looking forward to hearing/seeing more about the pres.
 
CHANCE,

I suspect my ACM-6’s have loose ribbons or some other ailment. They are not usable. I was not able to take the mics apart and look at the ribbons so I sent them to someone who knows what they are doing and they will get back to me soon. They sound quite distorted and one of them makes a rattling noise when I move it. Something is loose inside.
I understand you ordered extra mics as replacements and the manufacturer is sending replacement parts for sagging ribbons. What do I need to do? These mics sound like poo.
